Open educational resources are any type of digital content that is easily accessible and free to be used for educational and research purposes. Open licenses occur for this content.
There are at least seven different versions of Creative Commons licenses that are combinations for four different conditions. This conditions are attribution, share-alike, non-commercial, and no derivative works. Attribution means to give credit to the original author. Share-alike allows imitations of the original work to be licensed under the same umbrella as the original work. Non-commercial means that works cannot be used for monetary gain. It is for personal use. No derivative works means that only the original work can be offered.
